Teacher of History
This position is full time, permanent and to commence in September 2025

Our School is a popular school for students aged 11-18 with approximately 1000 students on roll including a thriving sixth form. We are situated in a highly desirable location in Buckinghamshire in the Aylesbury Vale area with a wide range of available amenities. To complement the surrounding rural location, the school is well placed for commuting to London with an excellent rail service, we are also well served by the M40 which directly links to Oxford.
The History Department is vibrant and high achieving. Lessons are exciting and varied, offering learners a chance to become independent learners who strive for the highest standards. We enable our students to ‘Aspire and Achieve’ through a wide variety of visits and creative experiences. Our goal as a department is to foster a love of History and a curiosity about the past. We are passionate about our subject and our lessons include a wide range of activities and topics to inspire our young Historians! The ability to teach Politics is desirable but not essential.
