Teacher of Business

We are looking for a Teacher of Business to commence in September 2025

Pay scale MPS/UPS

An outstanding, mixed grammar school in mid Buckinghamshire is looking for a well-qualified and passionate teacher to join their Business Studies team.  The school has 1400 students in total, with 450 being in the sixth form.  Academic attainment is well above average with 67% of A levels being graded A*-B and 40% of GCSE grades being 8-9 in 2024.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a hard-working, ambitious and supportive team.  Our students are keen to learn and challenge themselves, with many going on to Business related degree courses, or graduate apprenticeships upon leaving school.

The successful candidate will be able to deliver Business lessons across KS4 and 5. You will be flexible, positive in your approach, and able to work as part of a dynamic team. You will be willing to participate fully in a busy and successful school. Applicants will have the opportunity to work alongside outstanding practitioners in an environment which fosters high achievement and high standards.

We can offer you:

  • an outstanding school full of students who are committed to learning.
  • a welcoming team committed to staff well-being and professional development.
  • a vibrant community in which staff and students thrive through a commitment to academic study, a passion for creative arts, a drive for sporting endeavour and a devotion to championing personal development.

We would like you to:

  • fully commit to our Vision, Mission and Values
  • fully commit to the safeguarding of all students and to inclusion
  • have high expectations of yourself, and our students.
  • be committed to improving the life chances of young people from diverse backgrounds.

The Trust operates rigorous ‘safer recruitment’ practices, and the successful candidates will be required to undertake a criminal record check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.

The post is suitable for an ECT and we offer an excellent opportunity to receive support through our comprehensive ECT and CPD programme which will be delivered in conjunction with our partner schools within our Trust.
