For September 2026 we are seeking a highly qualified teacher of Biology at this 11-18 grammar school with a co-educational Sixth Form. This post offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to teach motivated and able students in an innovative and high achieving school.

We have 1370 students, of which 450 are in the Sixth Form. In 2024 the school was judged to be Outstanding in a full section 5 inspection in every category. It is regarded as one of the leading grammar schools in the country. As lead in the Teaching School Hub – Buckinghamshire, we provide an exciting range of professional development opportunities.

The Sciences are taught separately from year 9, and Biology is popular at KS5 level with approximately 140 students studying it.  A significant number of students going on to read it at university.  Our results are extremely strong at both GCSE and A Level.  Last year 62% of our Biology grades were 9-7 and 68% achieved A*-B at A Level.

Our Science labs are state of the art and supported by excellent technicians and you would be joining a fantastic team of 16 supportive colleagues.  The Science department is comprised of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Electronics.
