An outstanding, mixed comprehensive school with a large and thriving sixth form in North-west Hertfordshire is looking for a well-qualified and passionate teacher to join their Maths department. The school has 1500 students, fantastic facilities and academic attainment is well above average. We are within the top 10% for all schools for post 16 provision and we are very pleased to see our student numbers continually growing.
You will be joining a well-resourced, creative, hard-working and ambitious department as we strive towards outstanding in all areas of our practice. We take pride that attainment in Maths is very strong across key stages 3, 4 and 5 and students enjoy being taught in this vibrant department.
Tring School is very popular and over-subscribed, serving the town of Tring and the surrounding villages. It is a mixed Church of England comprehensive school with over 1500 students on roll including 330 in the Sixth Form.
