We are looking for a Teacher of Science- Chemistry Specialism to commence in September 2025

(This position is permanent)

The ability to teach Chemistry to KS5 is desirable but not essential.

We are an independent, co-educational, through school for children from 6 months old in our nursery, up to age 18.  Our school is set in 33 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside. The school enjoys a strong reputation for its academic excellence and welcoming community. Our students are happy, fulfilled young people, fully engaged in the life of the school community, aspirational and committed to their studies. This is also a hugely exciting time of development and growth for the school.

Due to a continued increase in pupil numbers, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher of Science with a Chemistry specialism to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be committed to contributing to the all-round education that our school prides itself on offering. The post would suit an ECT as we provide excellent training and support throughout the induction and beyond. You will be joining a well-resourced, hardworking and supportive team.

We offer extremely competitive rates of pay and there is the opportunity of on-site free accommodation with this post.

We are part of a group of independent schools and share best practice as well as employment opportunities across our group, this means that there are lots of opportunities for development!

For further details and an application form, please contact Helen at helendoubler@appleteachers.com or on 07867654459 asap.

Our School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
